Alternative Fuels For Automotive Internal Combustion Engines

Abstract

The article discusses the feasibility of using different types of fuels for internal combustion engines, these are alternative fuels: various alcohols, hydrogen, ethanol, methanol, rapeseed oil, biogas, etc. The composition and distinctive features of alternative fuels are also given. Among these fuels, attention is focused on biogas fuel. Biogas as an alternative energy source, currently it can be widely used as a fuel for automobile internal combustion engines.
