Malignant Melanomas and the environment in the population of Adjara

Abstract

The aim of the study was to detect different subtypes of melanomas in the population of Adjara. Cytopathological, PCR and questionnaire data analyses were conducted. The study revealed the spread of malignant melanoma in the population of Adjara in 2015-2021, subtypes of the disease, localization on the body, correlation with different sexes. BRAF(V600E) gene mutation has also been identified in malignant melanomas.
