Energy Storage Power Plant Complex of Javakheti as a Basis for Green Energy Development in Georgia

Abstract

The article shows that in conditions when the problem of creating a unified, technically perfect and politically stable international energy storage system hinders the development of environmentally friendly energy, the natural Tsalka-Pararavni lake system in Georgia provides a unique opportunity to provide a large part of the population with their own household energy installations, increase the sustainability of the energy system and simultaneously trade accumulated electricity with neighboring countries.
