Numerical modeling of the influence of bottom relief on the dynamics of water masses in Lake Paliastomi

The paper presents a two-dimensional numerical model of Lake Paliastomi. The developed model was used to calculate the circulation patterns of water flows in the lake in the case of various artificial modifications of the bottom relief. Based on the analysis of the obtained results, conclusions were drawn and appropriate recommendations were developed to prevent further deterioration of the reservoir.
