Abstract

Forests provide natural habitat and conditions for living organisms on Earth. In mountainous regions, the forest is also the major means of protection from natural disasters of various kinds (erosion, landslides, avalanches, mudslides, floods, etc.). Due to increased demand for forests, its resources are depleted and it is no longer able to utilize solar thermal energy, which is one of the reasons for global warming. In addition to banning logging the forests with a view to saving them, it is suggested to develop a new forest management system to provide new drought-resistant seedlings.
