Abstract

High mountainous (inland) Adjara, which is rich in natural-recreational resources, recreational places, natural monuments and aesthetically beautiful landscapes. In the mountainous regions of Adjara, the cool summer climate, clean ionized air creates favorable conditions for the expansion of a wide network of mountain climatic resorts. Due to the weakening of the sea in Adjara with the increase of altitude due to the weakening of the sea, the average annual temperature in the winter months gradually decreases to 11.7º in Keda (275 m above sea level) and 9.5º in Khulo (950 m above sea level). , At Goderdzi Pass (2025 AD) 2,2º August is the warmest month of the year in Adjara. Beshumi and Chirukhi are notable among the existing resorts in high mountainous Adjara at the end of the 20th century. In recent years, mountain resorts have been built in highland Adjara. They have both medical-recreational and entertainment purposes and they are provided for all four seasons of the year. Adjara A.R. Infrastructure development of ski resorts in Shuakhevi and Khulo municipalities and the following resorts are already operating: Gomarduli resort in Shuakhevi municipality and Ghomi mountain resort in Khulo municipality: Sapapsh Boduro in Kedlebi, Kulreti and Kulo. The number of visitors in highland Adjara has increased by 32% compared to previous years, which contributes to the growth of the national economy. In order to improve the resorts, modern hotels, cafes and bars should be built in addition to the roads, which will help to attract recreants and tourists.
